Biography

Therese Holguin, M.D., is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She joined UNM faculty in 2016 and is an Associate Professor of Dermatology. Dr. Holguin graduated from UNM School of Medicine in 1984, completed two years of Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, and a UNM Dermatology residency in 1989. Prior to joining UNM, she was a partner in private practice at Northern Arizona Dermatology Center in Flagstaff, Arizona for over 26 years. Dr. Holguin’s specialties include general and complex dermatology and surgical dermatology including complex excisions and the treatment of skin cancer.
