Biography

Hsu received her B.A. in Chemistry from the University of New Mexico. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of New Mexico. Following her MD degree she completed her Internal Medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center. After completing her residency she did a Cardiology Fellowship at the University of New Mexico. Following Cardiology Fellowship she completed a Cardiology Echocardiography Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.

Personal Statement

Dr. Hsu is a general non-invasive cardiologist with special interests in echocardiography, heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, cardiovascular disease prevention, and plant based nutrition. She cares for adult patients with a various cardiovascular conditions, including, but not limited to, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, arrhythmia, and cardiomyopathy. Her research interest is in the use of strain imaging in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease
