Biography

Dr. Iandiorio is a professor of Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico in the Division of Infectious Diseases. Since March 2019, she has served as the medical director of UNM Medical Group Truman Health Services, a patient-centered medical home providing specialty primary care services to people with HIV and people who are transgender or gender nonbinary.

Since July 2010, she has served as clinical director for the South Central AIDS Education and Training Center. The mission of AETC is to ensure all people sin Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and the tribal nations therein have access to best practices for screening, prevention and treatment of HIV; AETC also aims to reduce disparities in HIV care and prevention, improving the quality of life for people living with or at-risk for HIV. She has worked with the AETC program since 2004 and Project ECHO since 2010.

Dr. Iandiorio received her doctor of medicine degree at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.?She completed a residency in Internal Medicine, a fellowship in Infectious Disease and a New Mexico Education Scholars Program at the University of New Mexico’s School of Medicine.

Dr. Iandiorio has been providing specialty primary care to people with HIV in New Mexico and infectious disease consultative care since 2004. She is a member of the HIV Medical Association, International AIDS Society, National Infectious Disease Society of America, the New Mexico Chapter of IDSA and Physicians for a National Health Program.
