Biography
Dr Izquierdo came to Univeristy of New Mexico in 1988. Since then he has been taking care of High-Risk Pregnancies of our State. He has developed special interest in the prenatal diagnosis of congenital anomalies by ultrasound. Currently, he works with our learners in teaching obstetrical ultrasound as well the evaluation of fetal conditions. His work has led to multiple publications in various peer reviewed journals.
Personal Statement
My major interest in this subspecialty is to offer patients the alternative of Prenatal Diagnosis of Congenital Anomalies and the diagnosis and management of fetal growth disorders. Fetal Cardiology is my passion and I always look forward into the education of medical students, residents and fellows in this discipline.
