Biography

Dr. Jeney is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Urogynecology within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of New Mexico since 2021. Both certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, she is recognized for her clinic expertise, research contribution, and dedication to advancing women’s health. Dr. Jeney earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine after completing her undergraduate degree. She went on completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Cleveland clinic Foundation, where she tracked Urogynecology. She then trained in fellowship at the University of CA, Irvine and Kaiser Permanente Southern California (2018-2021).
Since joining the University of New Mexico, Dr. Jeney has served in multiple leadership roles, including Assistant fellowship Director, Residency Rotation Director for the Urogynecology. Her research focuses on relationships of mental health disorders, pelvic floor disorders, and clinical outcome of urogynecology care.
