Biography
Dr. Jeppson received a B.S. degree in Chemistry (2001) and a Doctor of Medicine (2006) from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Following his MD degree he completed a 4-year Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at Case-Western MetroHealth and Cleveland Clinic (2010), followed by a 3 year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University (2013). Since completing this training he has worked at the University of New Mexico.
Personal Statement
As a board-certified physician in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.I have dedicated my career to advancing the understanding and treatment of female pelvic floor disorders through clinical care, research, and education.Beyond my academic and clinical roles, I remain actively engaged with leading professional societies such as AAGL, ACOG, AUGS, and SGS, where I continue to collaborate with colleagues to advance women’s health. I have developed specialized expertise in the treatment of pelvic fistula, a condition that has taken me beyond the clinic and into global health.While medicine and teaching are central to my professional life, I also value the importance of balance and family. I am married with two sons, and I find joy in supporting their school, sports, and church activities. Whether in the clinic, classroom, or community, I am committed to using my skills to improve the lives of women and their families worldwide.
