Biography
Ting Jiang received a B.S. degree in Chemical Physics (2011) from the University of Science and Technology of China. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree (2017) from Duke University.
Personal Statement
My research interests and responsibilities at the Integrative Molecular Analysis Core (IMAC) focus on utilizing mass spectroscopy based techniques to assist our Core users especially the mPIs to explore the adverse effects of environmental contaminants (such as metals and organic chemicals) exposures on human health.
As the science research manager of the core, my detailed work duties include providing mass spectroscopic methodology related consultation, offering mass spectrometer trainings, performing proteomics and/or metabolomics and/or biomarker studies on LC-MS instrument for biological samples submitted by core users, provide continued support to mPIs and other core users in mass spectrometry to achieve their research goals, etc.
