Biography

Dr. Johansson received her B.S in Biological Anthropology and Minor in Chemistry in 2008 from Western Washington University. Next she earned a Masters of Science degree in Biomedical Research from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in 2012 working and publishing on Staphylococcus in a microbiological laboratory. In 2016, Dr. Johansson received a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific Northwest. She completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of New Mexico in 2019, became board certified in Internal Medicine, and went on to start the Chief of Medical Residents position at the Billings Clinic Internal Medicine Residency. After which she returned to New Mexico to work as an Academic Hospitalist at the Raymond G Murphy VA Medical Center and work as Assistant Clinical Faculty through the University of New Mexico Internal Medicine Residency.
