Biography

Dr. Kraai received his undergraduate degree in Political Science (1993) from the University of Colorado. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree (2003) from the University of Colorado. Following his MD degree he completed a residency in internal medicine (2006) and a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (2014) at the University of New Mexico.

Personal Statement

I have chosen to focus my career on caring for critically ill patients, specifically on the use of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation for advance cardiac and respiratory failure. I have pursued additional training in this technology and am dedicated to the education of others in advancing its use in caring for the critically ill.
