Biography

Dr Langsfeld moved to Albuquerque in 1991 with his wife Carol and two children. He started at UNM in Jan, 1991, and has practiced all aspects of vascular surgery. He has previously served as Division Chief of Vascular Surgery and as the Program Director for the General Surgery Residency. In the last seven years he has focused mainly on venous surgery. He belongs to the UNM Faculty Senate, is mentor for the medical student surgery interest group, and has been recently named the Surgery Quality Officer for our department.
His family has grown to six children since coming to New Mexico. He and his wife enjoy travelling around the USA to see his children as well as four grandchildren.
