Personal Statement

I was drawn to the flexibility, diversity, and acuity working in the perioperative setting. My particular interest in anesthesiology is regional anesthesia and acute pain management in optimizing the perioperative pain management in hopes of decreasing patient length of stay. Regional anesthesia is an exciting field that will continue to expand the forefront of both inpatient and outpatient surgery with hopeful implementation to make surgery and anesthesia accessible worldwide.
