Biography

Dr. Markee received a BS degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology in 2010 at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and a MS degree in Biological Sciences at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, in 2012. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Prisma Health Children's Hospital in Columbia, SC and subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of New Mexico.

Personal Statement

My role as a Neonatologist is to focus on delivering multidisciplinary, evidence based care to my patients with the goal of improving and optimizing nutrition and neuro-developmental outcomes. My research throughout fellowship and current on-going projects are concentrated on improving neuro-developmental outcomes in extremely premature infants.
