Personal Statement
I originally thought I was going to be a gastroenterologist upon entering medical school; however, I completed a post-sophomore fellowship in pathology and have never looked back. I truly believe that if medical students had the same exposure to the field of pathology as I was fortunate to experience, then medicines best kept secret would become the most sought-after field of practice.
As a native New Mexican, I am thrilled for the opportunity to serve our community, and in my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and dogs.
