Biography
My research centers on the toxicology of environmental metals and their impacts on human health. I am particularly interested in elucidating the mechanisms of metal-induced toxicity in hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, with a specific emphasis on the hematotoxicity of inorganic and organic arsenicals. Additionally, my work investigates the mechanisms of immune dysregulation resulting from exposure to metals and other toxicants.
Areas of Specialty
My areas of specialization include understanding metal-induced hematotoxicity, immune dysfunction, and genotoxicity, with an emphasis on translation between basic and human-based studies.
