Biography
Sarah Medrek received a B.S.E. degree in chemical engineering (2005) and Princeton University. She eared her Doctor of Medicine degree (2011) at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Follower her MD degree she completed a 3-year residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (2014) and a3 -year fellowship in pulmonary/critical care medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (2017).
Personal Statement
Dr. Medrek has professional interests in pulmonary hypertension. She is involved in numerous organizations within the pulmonary and critical care community. She is a member of the New Mexico Thoracic Society Board of Directors. With CHEST, she is an the Outcomes Committee and the Society Media Committee. At ATS she serves on the Members in Training Committee.
