Biography

Miller earned an M.S. in Statistics (2000) from Kansas State University and a Ph.D in Statistics (2005) from Iowa State University. He started working with the
Community Health Environmental Program (CEHP) at the UNM College of Pharmacy
in 2011.

Personal Statement

I have been in some field related to mathematics since college. I have been
more successful in statistics than in pure mathematics and more so in
practice (data analysis) and research than in teaching. I have been with the
Community Environmental Health Program since starting at UNM, but do not
feel that I am a specialist in one area of statistics, or in the analysis of any one
class of data.

Areas of Specialty

Public health statistics
Analysis of environmental data
Mathematical statistics
Statistical methodology
