Biography
Dr. Mubeen earned her Doctor of Medicine degree (2009) from Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, India. Following her MD degree, she completed Pathology residency in India. She then moved to United States where she completed Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency from University of Florida, Jacksonville, where she also served as Chief resident. She then completed a 1-year fellowship in Gynecologic and Genitourinary Pathology from University of Alabama at Birmingham followed by a 1-year fellowship in Cytopathology from Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. Dr. Mubeen serves as the director of resident cytology rotation.
Personal Statement
I am board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. I have a special interest in the areas of my formal training (gynecologic and genitourinary pathology and cytopathology). I am passionate about teaching the next generation of pathology trainees.
