Biography

Daniel Noriega-Lucero currently serves as the Manager of Academic Advisement and Recruitment for the College of Population Health, while also holding an appointment as Adjunct Faculty – Lecturer II. Following his undergraduate degree, he embarked on a global journey, residing in various countries. Prior to his current role, Noriega-Lucero held the position of Coordinator of Bilingual Education at Instituto Brighton in Sonora, Mexico. During his tenure there, he spearheaded initiatives aimed at obtaining the Escuela Verde certification from the Ministry of Education and the National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change. One of these initiatives involved revamping and modifying the curriculum to incorporate environmental health and climate change. Upon returning to New Mexico, Noriega-Lucero pursued an MBA from the University of New Mexico.
