Biography

Dr. Lena Perger earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia in 2003. She completed her General Surgery internship and residency at the University of New Mexico and a Pediatric Surgery Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Perger joined Texas A&M College of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Surgery in 2011 and currently serves as an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.
