Biography

Dr. Rael received her B.A. in Neuroscience from Colorado College in 1996, and her M.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2000. She completed her residency with San Antonio Military Pediatric Consortium in 2003, and worked as a general pediatrician for the United States Army for four years. She returned to New Mexico to complete fellowship training in Neonatology, which she completed in 2010.

Personal Statement

Dr. Rael is focused on improving outcomes and delivering evidence based, family centered care for her patients in the NICU. She is involved in the day to day tasks and protocol development as the Medical Director of the NICU/ICN4.
