Personal Statement

I have a passion for both hematopathology and molecular genetic pathology and their significant interplay. I also have a strong interest in digital pathology and its implementation as it relates to hematopathology as well as its potential integration with artificial intelligence systems. The potential for outreach with digital pathology systems is also an area of interest as are novel sequencing techniques. I am additionally interested in Informatics, particularly the use of algorithmic testing to improve care, quality, and cost in laboratory medicine.
