Biography
Amy Rouse, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at the University of New Mexico. She completed her post-graduate training in pediatrics, adult psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry at Brown University in 2019. She is the medical director for the inpatient pediatric consult liaison service at the UNM Children?s Hospital. She is passionate about improving access to evidence-based behavioral health care, and to that aim works on the New Mexico Access to Behavioral Health Care grant (NM-ABC) and co-developed services integrating child psychiatry into outpatient pediatric settings in Rhode Island and New Mexico. She also works clinically as a telepsychiatrist contracted with the IHS.
