Biography

Dr. ‘Irene’ Sadr completed her Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital in Boston (Harvard Medical School)(2000) and her Pediatrics residency at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth)(1997) after completing medical School in Tehran, Iran in 1993 at Iran University of Medical Sciences. She has been involved in multiple quality improvement initiatives throughout her career which led to her pursuing a master's degree in international health management with a focus on quality improvement at Arizona State University College of Health Solutions. This was completed in 2021.

Originally from New York, she had lived on the East Coast for most of her life until she fell in love with Albuquerque. She enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with family and exploring new ideas.

Personal Statement

Patients with congenital heart disease are often complex and most patients and their families will experience significant anxiety. I believe patients should receive excellent and equitable care with compassion and precision to help them through their journey.
