Biography

I was born and raised in Jordan, where I developed a deep appreciation for community, culture, and the value of caring for others. My nursing journey began with a BSN from Hashemite University, leading me into critical care roles across Jordan and Saudi Arabia. These early experiences shaped my clinical foundation and ignited my passion for patient-centered care.
After moving to New Mexico, I pursued a Master’s in Nursing Education at the University of New Mexico, while continuing my ICU work at Kindred Hospital. In 2023, I transitioned into a teaching role at UNM, where I now share my clinical expertise with the next generation of nurses. As a bilingual educator fluent in Arabic and English, I bring cultural awareness, empathy, and a deep commitment to advancing nursing practice and education in my community and beyond.
