Biography
Kevin Sitko received a B.S. degree in Biology in 2004 and his M.D degree in 2010 both at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He completed an Internship in Medicine at Cone Health in 2011. Following the Internship he completed a Residency in Ophthalmology in 2014 at Tufts Medical Center and a Fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology in 2015 at Emory University School of Medicine.
Areas of Specialty
Diseases affecting the neurologic pathways of vision and control of eye movements, including ischemic optic neuropathy, papilledema, optic neuritis, stroke, hereditary optic neuropathy, double vision, cranial neuropathies affecting eye movements, myasthenia gravis, neurodegenerative conditions with effects on vision and pupillary abnormalities. Other clinical interests are: the electrophysiologic testing of the eye in the diagnosis of ocular pathology, including full-field electroretinogram (ERG), multifocal ERG, electro-oculogram (EOG), pattern ERG and visual evoked potentials (VEP). Also, inflammatory conditions of the eye, called uveitis and cataract surgeries.
