Biography
Lindsay Smart, Ph.D. earned her doctorate and masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver and a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Portland. She completed her Clinical Psychology Internship and Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and serves as Associate Vice President for Operations and Strategic Initiatives in the UNM Health Sciences Center Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Dr. Smarts current work focuses on diversity and equity in health professions, and integrating humanities into medical education to promote wellness and team building.
