Personal Statement
I enjoy working with and teaching residents and medical students in small group and clinical settings. In the past I have spent a significant amount of time working with underserved populations both locally and internationally. During medical school and residency I travelled and worked extensively in Latin America, including Cuba, Mexico, and parts of Central and South America. Before being employed at YCHC, I travelled to Pakistan and Sri Lanka to help provide disaster relief services. I also spent some time volunteering as a physician at Healthcare for the Homeless. I hope to continue some of this work in the future.
