Biography

Christina K Vigil, MSN-Ed, RN, WCC,OMS, CWCN is a Lecturer I at The University of New Mexico College of Nursing. She obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing in 2012 and Masters degree in Nursing Education in 2017. Prior to joining the University of New Mexico, her experience included Medical Surgical, In-patient wound and ostomy, clinical education, and an industry wound care clinical educator. Her primary role is working with undergraduate nursing students. Her areas of interest include Wound and Ostomy Nursing, Nursing Education, Adult learning, Health promotion, and Interprofessional collaboration.

Personal Statement

I enjoy teaching and working with students in the undergraduate nursing education program, specifically in wound and ostomy and medical surgical nursing.
