Biography

Leah is Chippewa-Cree and Miniconjou Lakota enrolled in Rocky Boy’s Reservation in Rocky Boy, Montana. She lived in Billings, Montana before moving to Albuquerque, NM in 1994. Leah has been working at the University of New Mexico for the past 17 years in various departments with students from all across the world. In addition to her work, Leah is also a student at UNM majoring in Sociology with a minor in Native American Studies. In her free time, she enjoys walks with her family, bowling and eating out with friends.

Education

Leah is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Sociology and a minor in Native American Studies at the University of New Mexico.
