Biography

Dr. Williams received a B.S. degree in Physics and Mathematics (2008) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.D. degree (2014) from the University of Minnesota. He then completed a 3-year residency and chief resident year at the University of Colorado, a 3-year fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of Maryland, and a 2-year fellowship in Clinical informatics at the University of New Mexico during which he earned a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Informatics from the Oregon Health & Science University.

Personal Statement

Dr. Williams is passionate about applying his clinical informatics training to create data driven systems that improve patient and population health. He works closely with multidisciplinary and quality teams to accomplish meaningful changes across the healthcare system. His clinical time is spent in the Medical ICU and on the inpatient Pulmonary Consult team.
