Biography

Dr. Yang received a B.S. degree from Fudan University and a Ph.D. in Statistics from University of New Mexico. Following his Ph.D. degree, he completed a 2-year postdoctoral research at Duke University & NIEHS, NIH under the supervision of David Dunson. He focused on application of novel Bayesian methods to applied health and medical issues. He has been working with researchers from different fields such as Public Health, Psychology, Medicine, Dental Science

Dr. Yang's research interests are focused on Bayesian nonparametrics; Survival analysis, Computational statistics, Variable selection, Latent variable modeling, Structural equation modeling.
