Personal Statement

My laboratory investigates the physiological roles of adhesion class G protein-coupled receptors in the kidney. Adhesion GPCRs are unique signaling proteins that are self-activated by tethered-peptide agonists. The goals of our research are to identify the function of understudied GPCRs to improve our understanding of kidney physiology in health and disease.
