Assistant HHS Secretary Visits UNM Center for Reproductive Health

Admiral Rachel L. Levine, MD, Assistant Secretary for Health in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, paid a visit to The University of New Mexico Center for Reproductive Health on Thursday, May 26, to underscore the Biden administration’s support for reproductive rights.

Levine met with Eve Espey, MD, chair of the UNM Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, vice chair Lisa Hofler, MD, MPH, MBA, center director Amber Truehart, MD, A. Robb McLean, MD, chief medical officer of the UNM Medical Group, Inc., Tracie Collins, MD, MPH, dean of the College of Population Health and other reproductive justice partners working throughout the state.
