Sun Bus Offers Free Skin Cancer Screening

The Sun Bus, a free mobile skin cancer screening service based in Colorado, will be visiting six locations in New Mexico in coming weeks.

The Sun Bus is operated by the Colorado Melanoma Foundation with the mission of bringing free skin exams and public education about skin cancer to residents.

Here are the upcoming New Mexico screening times and locations:

• Tuesday, Sept. 27, 7:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Epiphany Dermatology, 5512 E. Main St., Farmington
• Wednesday, Sept. 28, 8 a.m.-12 p.m., Epiphany Dermatology, 1353 Paseo del Pueblo Sur
• Monday, Oct. 3, 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m., Epiphany Dermatology, Central Park Square, Los Alamos
• Tuesday, Oct. 4, 1 p.m.-5 p.m., Bosque Brewing North, 834 U.S. 550, Bernalillo
• Wednesday, Oct. 5, 8 a.m.-12 p.m., Epiphany Dermatology, 8316 Kaseman Ct NE, Albuquerque
• Thursday, Oct. 6, 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m., Epiphany Dermatology, 141 N. Roadrunner Parkway, Las Cruces

Reservations are encouraged, but walk-ins will be accepted on a first come, first-served basis
