Please Give Well!

UNM Gives Campaign Runs Oct. 2-Nov. 17

We all should be proud of our vital work at the UNM Health Sciences Center improving the health and lives of New Mexicans through our clinical care, biomedical research, medical training and community involvement missions. We work here because we care about our families, neighbors and community.

Whether your passion is health care, education, arts or self-sufficiency, you can support what is important to you with whatever level of giving is possible. So please give this year.

The United Way of Central New Mexico also cares about our communities. Through our UNM Gives campaign, you can target your support toward any number of not-for-profit organizations, including several here at the HSC through the UNM Foundation.

You also can designate part or all of your contribution to the United Way Community Fund, which last year supported 82 community projects and programs in central New Mexico serving 105,628 people and providing nearly 2.8 million meals.

And, consider Mission: Families, which provides stability, safety and support for working families; and Mission: Graduate, a cradle-to-career education partnership designed to increase high school graduation, higher-education enrollment and employer engagement.

All of these programs within and outside of the HSC are building blocks for a better life and enable our neighbors, friends, co-workers and family members to access a network of local services for the most complex of human problems.

UNM HSC employees can make your pledge online. UNM Medical Group, Sandoval Regional Medical Center and UNM Hospitals employees will receive a separate email invitation with directions on how you can make your pledge.

If we all give a little, it can turn into a lot. Your generosity can truly impact the health and well-being of fellow New Mexicans. Give well.
