The UNM School of Medicine in Albuquerque offers graduate-level training for students and faculty in research education through the Biomedical Research Education Program, also known as BREP.
The program trains students and faculty in basic science and research methods, including how to:
- Conduct laboratory-based and clinical biomedical research
- Write manuscripts and grant proposals
- Make presentations and more
The overall goal of biomedical research education is to train investigators who will increase our understanding of human health at the level of molecules, cells and organisms.
