Biography

Dr. Adair is Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of New Mexico and staff Neurologist at the Raymond G. Murphy VA Medical Center.  He received his medical degree from and completed residency training at the University of Utah.  Dr. Adair subsequently worked in private practice at the Salt Lake Clinic.  He later received Behavioral Neurology fellowship training at the Center for Neuropsychological Studies at the University of Florida and then moved to New Mexico in 1995.  He became certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 1992 and in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties in 2007.  Dr. Adair directed the adult neurology residency training program for 13 years.  He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, including the Academy’s sections for Behavioral Neurology and Geriatric Neurology.
