Biography

I am originally from Texas, attended The University of Texas Medical Branch for my medical school education. Needing a change of venue (that is closer to the mountains for snowboarding), and looking for more rural surroundings, I came to the University of New Mexico for my residency in Child Neurology. I stayed here for my fellowship in Sleep medicine and now I am proud to be here as an Assistant Professor in Child Neurology.

Albuquerque affords me the unique opportunity to practice a specialty like child neurology in a more rural setting, and still be able to practice in a University setting where I can participate in resident and medical student education as well. I am particularly interested in neonatal sleep medicine as well travelling to the Outreach Clinics to provide care to the more rural areas of the state.
