Post-Master’s Certificate Program

You already have a master's degree in nursing. But now you want to specialize in another area of nursing. The Post-Master's Certificate Program at UNM College of Nursing is the program for you.

Students are eligible to seek certification in one of the following concentrations:

• Family Nurse Practitioner
• Nurse-Midwifery

Applications for a Spring 2024 semester start are open and are due October 15^th.

Post-Graduate Certificate Program

You already have a graduate degree in nursing. But now you want to specialize in another area of nursing. The Post-Graduate Certificate Program at UNM College of Nursing is the program for you.

Students are eligible to seek certification in one of the following concentrations:

• Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Family Nurse Practitioner
• Nurse-Midwifery
• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care
• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Applications for the Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 semester starts are open and are due January 15^th.

Healthcare Education Certificate

This certificate program provides current and future health care educators with the skills and tools to teach health care students in 12 to 16-credits offered fully online and asynchronously. This makes it feasible for current graduate students and health care professionals who are working full-time to complete the certificate program. 

Applications for a Fall 2024 semester start will open in Spring of 2024.  Please check back soon.
