Become a Student Ambassador

• Welcome prospective students and families at recruitment events

• Volunteer at College events and activities

• Take part in marketing photos, videos and social media campaigns

• Support student engagement and community outreach opportunities

• Participate in advisory or leadership opportunities, as appropriate

Current undergraduate and graduate UNM College of Nursing students who:

• Are in good academic standing

• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

• Meet UNM and College of Nursing student conduct standards

Student Ambassadors serve for one year and participate in approximately 3–5 activities throughout their term.

Opportunities vary throughout the year, and students can participate based on their schedules, interests and availability. Some activities may take place during evenings or weekends.

• Develop leadership and professional communication skills

• Connect with College of Nursing faculty, staff and fellow students

• Build relationships with current and future employers

• Gain experience to add to your resume or CV

• Receive College of Nursing Ambassador swag and recognition
