The College of Population Health invites junior faculty, researchers, and advanced doctoral students to collaborate with a team in public health and evaluation research and practice. Opportunities are with the COPH Assessment, Planning & Evaluation Unit, aimed at providing technical assistance and evaluation to state agencies and community organizations; and research grants in occupational health & safety and sustainable agriculture.
The SW Ag Center is one of eleven Centers funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/oep/agctrhom.html. to perform research and outreach to reduce injuries and fatalities among agriculture, forestry, and fishing (AFF) workers. The SW Ag Center's Feasibility Studies Program promotes AFF health and safety within Public Health Service Region 6 (AR, LA, NM, OK, TX).
