Ava J. Lovell, CPA Ava Lovell has held several positions of financial leadership at UNM since joining the University in 1994. Her experience also includes Fortune 500 companies, defense contracting and public accounting. She graduated from Northern Arizona University and is a certified public accountant. |

Robert G. Fondino Prior to Joining UNM in 1993, Bob was Controller and Associate Professor within the State University of New York system. At UNM, he began as an Accountant III in the Controller's Office. Shortly, thereafter, he became Accounting Manager in Accounts Payable. He then accepted a position at the HSC Budget Office in July 1996. |

Desiree Gathings Linda Pardo Linda works for Ava J. Lovell, HSC Executive Financial Officer & University Controller. As Manager, Division Support Services, she acts as executive assistant, oversees and facilitates all divisional hiring, recruitment planning and other HR functions and acts as principle administrative liaison between Financial Services HSC/Main and other university departments. Prior to coming moving to New Mexico in 1998, she was an associate director for study abroad programs, mayoral aide for city government, manager of Employee Relations for a large hospital, and a high school teacher. |

Josie S. Zamora Josie S. Zamora has worked in various positions throughout the University since 1999. She provides confidential administrative support and maintains the Chief Budget & Financial Officer's calendar, as well as provide support to the Senior Executive Financial Officer, Budget Office Director and staff. Assists in the preparation of legislative and operating budgets, revenue and expense projections, final reports, and other specialized financial reports and analyses. Assists in reconciling budgeted and actual revenues and expenditures for the State of New Mexico formal budget documents. Assist with 5-Year Plan, F&A monitoring and Capital Projects accounting and Top Slice monitoring. She also provides support to higher level budget analysts in development, implementation, and management of operational and capital budgets. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Economics. |
