We are the birthplace of Grants, Contracts and Other Agreements that benefit the UNM Health Science Center in its Research, Public Service and Educational goals. The role of PreAward is that of a Sponsored Projects Office; reviewing, approving, negotiating, and advising HSC Principal Investigators, Faculty & Staff members who seek external funding from federal, state, local, and business entities. PreAward also negotiates Material Transfer Agreements (MTA) and Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDA) and Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA) with pharma. DUE DATES to Pre Award
5 Business Days Prior to mailings; science may be draft, except all electronic submittals must transmit 48 hours prior to avoid jammed servers.
Exception- Full NIH Proposal due 10 Business Days prior, science in draft. Then 5 days prior, finalized science is added & transmited to NIH.
