The mission of the UNM Health Sciences Center Budget Office is to effectively manage fiscal resources in support of the education, research, and clinical care efforts of the UNM Health Sciences Center.
The Budget office works with academic, administrative, and clinical units to ensure accurate and efficient budget planning, implementation, and reporting practices.
We support executive leadership and operating units' priorities by identifying, allocating, and managing resources available for operating and capital expenditures.
We ensure the effective and proper use of appropriated resources and provide detailed financial data to state government and elected officials regarding the financial outlook of HSC and its research and public service programs.
