Topics have included understanding dyads and triads, understanding group dynamics, leadership and followership, understand your own personality style, feedback and self-disclosure.

The Office of Professionalism offers consultations to leaders and teams on problems related to professionalism.

Reasons for requesting a consultation might include:

  • An individual clinician, teacher or student showing difficulties in educational or clinical situations
  • Recurrent conflict within a team or a department
  • To determine whether a problem with an individual clinician, faculty member, staff member or student is due to a lack of communicative skills, a personality conflict, an exceptional circumstance, etc.

In addition to providing analysis of an individual or group problem, the Office of Professionalism provides interventions based in group dynamics, interpersonal psychotherapy, organizational and industrial psychology and coaching theory and practice.
