Student Services

One our primary roles is to support Native students currently enrolled in health-related degree programs at the UNM HSC. In order to fulfill this role, we provide a number of resources to students which are detailed below.

Outreach

CNAH participates and hosts a wide variety of outreach activities across campus, as well as in the community. A sampling of activities include:

• Summer Policy Academy Annual Visit to HSC (In collaboration with the Santa Fe Indian School -  Leadership Institute)
• Indian Health Services Scholarship Information Session (In collaboration with Indian Health Service)
• CNAH Welcome Back Event (Hosted every August)
• Annual Health Sciences Graduation Recognition Ceremony (Hosted by CNAH every spring)
• Community/School Career and Health Fairs (To occur throughout the year)
• Student Group visits to the Health Sciences Center (To occur throughout the year)
