Adjusting to Healthy Distancing and Protecting Together
As we start slowly coming out of our cocoons at home, there are precautions we must take to slow down or prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our #AHDAPT social media campaign on Instagram and Facebook provides information about heathy distancing and safety measures we can all adapt to keep our communities safe.

2018 Community Health Assessment Workshop
The Center for Native American Health in partnership with the National Council for Behavioral Health (NCBH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) hosted the 2018 Behavioral Health Community Health Assessment Workshop (CHAW) and Adult Mental Health First Aid Training on May 14 - May 16, 2018 at the Isleta Resort and Casino.

All Nations Wellness & Healing Center
The All Nations Wellness & Healing Center is an initiative of the First Nations Community Healthsource to provide services and resources that address the social determinants of health. CNAH provides technical support to the ANWHC and their Community Advisory Panel to establish priority service areas and organize events.
Indigenous Data Sovereignty & Governance Workshop

2017 Tribal Leaders' Public Health Symposium
The CNAH Tribal Leaders' Public Health Symposium was held on June 26-27, 2017 in Albuquerque. The TLPHS was developed to assist Tribal Leaders in their policy development and advocacy by building public health knowledge and skills.
Indigenous Pre-Admission Education for the Health Professions (iPrEHP)
The iPrEHP workshop, held May 14-16, 2017 in Albuquerque, was designed to prepare Native undergraduate students to the admissions process for health professions degree programs at UNM. Academic advisement staff from 3 tribal and community colleges -- Dine' College Shiprock , Dine' College Tsaile, Navajo Technical University, and San Juan College -- were also in attendance to learn about the programs at the UNM HSC.

2016 CNAH Convocation for American Indian Health Sciences Graduates held on May 11, 2016 from 6-9pm at the Sheraton-Uptown. Honoring the UNM Health Sciences Center American Indian students for their dedication and commitment in pursuing a career in the Health Professions.
In May 2015 the Center for Native American Health held their annual Convocation Ceremony in honor of the American Indian/Alaskan Native graduates in the health professions. The University of New Mexico Health Science Center had a record breaking number of AI/AN graduates.
