Inpatient Study Coordination and Nursing Support

Clinical Research Nurse or Research Nursing Support

CRN’s are state licensed registered nurses assisting with the implementation of your study protocol. Services include: meeting attendance, pre-site/site visit, conference calls, development of source documents, review subjects for changes in condition , AE/SEA, protocol compliance response to drug, chart review, IV start and monitoring, infusions, medication administration (IM/IV), foley insertion, as well as other duties of a Clinical Research Coordinator.

Study Coordination

Clinical Research Coordinators are available to assist in implementing your study protocol. Services include: meeting attendance, pre-site/site visit, conference calls, development of source documents, study recruitment, enrollment, scheduling visits, visit execution, consent, managing regulatory binders, case report form completion, AE/SAE reporting, drug/device accountability, monitor facilitation, annual reports, study queries.

Inpatient Study and Nursing Support

An overnight stay at UNM H 5E includes 24 hours nursing services provided by the hospital staff. Data and specimen collection at 1 minute to t1 hour intervals. Subject may be completely dependent. Meals are not included.

Research Pharmacy

In accordance with NM Board of pharmacy,  PCI clinic has a Class C pharmacy license and a dedicated pharmacy area in order to administer investigational medication to the patients in the Participant Research Interactions Clinic.  PCI pharmacy is visited by the consultant pharmacist from UNM Hospital least every three months to be compliant with the regulations.
