Scholarships from the HSC Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

The HSC Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strives to improve access for high quality health care education for all New Mexicans, particularly students from underrepresented populations.

Through our Hartley B. Dean scholarship, the Office provides $20,000 a year in medical school tuition for Native American students enrolled at the UNM School of Medicine.

Additionally, we provide disadvantaged students up to $2,500 a year in professional development and academic support. This support would not be possible without the generosity of our collaborative partners and donors here in Albuquerque and across the Southwest.
