The UNM HSC Center for Native American Health specializes in student and workforce development, community engagement, community-based participatory research (CBPR), community health assessment capacity building, program planning, and project management. Partnering with students, staff, faculty, community groups, organizations, and government agencies to develop sustainable solutions and creative pathways for improving the health and well-being of Indigenous people.

Develops and conducts training and education on faculty employment matters to support faculty leaders.
UNM Health's free interpreter services are available 24/7. Facilitates limited English proficient (LEP) with patients and families in three modalities: in-person, by phone, and by video.

Provides mental health care to the community and in-house training for our clinical psychology doctoral students. Psychotherapy and psychological assessment are provided by doctoral students in clinical psychology under the supervision of clinical faculty and under the responsibility of the director, who is a licensed psychologist. Anyone in the area may seek services at the Clinic and a sliding fee schedule allows affordable care for all.
A confidential resource center available to the UNM community on North Campus located in a cozy converted house. We opened to provide students at HSC with the services and programming of the Women’s Resource Center and the Accessibility Resource Center in a welcoming environment.
